Wondering how Wild Roots came to be?
Kayla has worked in the Lancaster hair industry for 14 years, building up a clientele that has become more like family, as well as curating a reputation for excellence.
Kayla's dream for Wild Roots was to plant the seeds of a new way of doing hair; her unique approach to hairstyling stems from her love of nature, and her penchant-for-plants aesthetic is apparent in every corner of the salon.
What Wild Roots means to all of us here is letting our true "wild" selves shine, and that's the feeling we want you, our clients, to experience from the time you walk in the door to the time you leave feeling refreshed and more yourself than ever!

Hello! I’m Kayla, the owner, master stylist, and Board Certified Colorist here at Wild Roots!
Besides running the business, you will see me behind the chair doing what I love: from color corrections, blonding, and balayage, to fun short cuts. When I'm not doing hair you can find me strolling through a greenhouse, spending time with my husband and our two daughters, Rayne and Haven, and being outdoors.

Hi, I’m Robin. I’ve been doing hair for 36 years now. It’s what I’ve always really wanted to do.
You know the saying, “if you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life”? Well, I haven’t worked for the last 36 years according to that! I love being able to make women and men look and feel great! Seeing that smile on your face when you leave is my goal! I have three children; two daughters and a son. My boyfriend and I have a 3 year old Husky mix, Zoe. I’ve lived in Lancaster my whole life so I’m a hometown girl and I love it!

Hey, I'm Emily! If you're looking for a laid back yet confident hair stylist, I'm your girl! With 5 years of experience, I specialize in vivid colors & blonding. The more challenging the project, the better! From funky colors to gorgeous blondes & brunettes, you can feel like the best version of yourself in my chair. I look forward to chatting it up and creating beautiful hair with you!

Hello! My name is Elizabeth and I have been a Stylist and Nail Tech in Lancaster for over 7 years. I have a clientele base that spans from York to Philly and I would love to add you to that list!
I specialize in color services, along with color removal and curly hair cuts (partly due to my own mane) and I have a love for fashion colors.
When I'm not at the salon weaving foils or mixing toner, I'm at my tattoo and piercing studio Blood & Steel down in Conestoga!

Hey all! My name is Brynn, and I'm the face behind the front desk at Wild Roots as well as the salon's Assistant Manager. I'll be the voice on the other end of the phone helping you schedule your visit and answering any questions you may have, and when you come in I'll make your cup of coffee while you wait for your appointment to start! I haven't been in the salon business for long, but friendly and attentive customer service has always been my top priority.
When I'm not answering phone calls or scheduling appointments at the front desk, you'll probably see me working on my next embroidery project, and you'll always see me sporting a new hair style and fun color compliments of our team of talented Wild Roots stylists!
